How does the collected Time and Attendance data get to your report producing data base?
Currently TempChecker uses any convenient on-site computer.
Since TempChecker is a web based service, our clients need a means to transfer the collected data to their database. To do this, you will need to select any convenient on-site computer to run a very small program we call the “Oversight Client” in the background. (The computer’s OS needs to be XP, Vista, or Windows7.)
Through various means, e.g., cable, cyber key, cradle, etc., the collection device transfers its data to computer and then on to the web. At the same time the collection device is cleared and ready for new data, and the collection device’s clock is reset if necessary.
There is no need for a dedicated computer. One just needs to be periodically available and permitted access to our web site.
You DO NOT need to use this computer to retrieve reports!
