TempChecker collects time and attendance data using a unique personal identifier at the specific location where contract hires are working.

General

The starting point for the TempChecker data collection process is the identification tag used by the contract worker.

The tags can be barcode labels, iButtons, RFID tags, or other.

The tags can represent a specific individual or just a Staffing Agency

Temp by Individual

If your company wants to know not only the number of contract hours that were worked, but also wants to know the name of specific worker that is easily doable. For this situation we recommend that the Staffing Agency issue the tag to an individual temp and then record that assignment during the online setup. That tag will be unique to that worker until it changed online. Now your reports will include all the hourly usage by facility and departments, plus the name of the contract worker that performed them.

Temp by Staffing Agency

Sometimes the contract worker turnover is such that there is no need to record them by name. The company is only interested in the number contract labor by facility and department, and by Staffing Agency. In this case, at the entrance points, there would be a number of color coded tags. Each color would represent a specific Staffing Agency. When the contract worker arrived they would sign for and be issued a properly colored tag and use that throughout their shift. They would turn it when they departed. The sign in roster would be there for backup, but the names would not appear on the automated reports.

Temp Alternatives

There are also a number of variations. We will work with each company during the initial setup to determine the best alternative for the environment.
