Are you frustrated that there
is no easy way:

To monitor and verify on-site contract hours?

To assign contract hours to specific departments?

To compare actual on-site contract hours to “invoiced” hours?

To compare and analyze contract labor usage throughout the entire company?

Do you find it difficult to get internal support (HR and IT) to help administer contract labor?

Human Resources (HR) sees their role is to support the many, complicated aspects of permanent employees.

  • TempChecker provides unique personal IDs, either barcode labels or iButtons, for each contract worker. They are normally given to the contract worker by the Staffing Agency before they arrive at your facility. Independent readers are placed at all the entrances and exits authorized for use by the temps. When the contract worker arrives or departs they have their personal ID “read”. Periodically the Time and Attendance data is collected and transferred to a secure server. After that, a variety of workforce management reports are available to any authorized user, anytime on any computer.
  • In addition to capturing the exact date and time of arrival/departure, TempChecker may also capture contract workers on-site hour by specific department or cost center. This is done by adding inexpensive readers to all chosen work areas. When the contract worker reaches their assigned work area, they “sign in” again. They follow this process throughout the day, regardless of the number of areas they may work. You pay the Staffing Agency for the on-site time and you may charge the appropriate Department for the time spent in their work area.
  • The TempChecker workforce management software has a particularly versatile report writer. In most cases we can create a report that uses the same parameters as the Agency’s invoices. (We can also report on multiple agencies at a single facility.) You should be able to see a direct comparison between “on site” hours and “invoiced” hours.
  • Temp Checker was designed to offer unlimited scalability. You can setup the Company’s entire organizational structure, by user or provider. Temp Checker can create reports tailored and appropriately summarized for each organizational level. Additionally, the reports will be in a consistent format all across the company or Agency. Finally, you can produce management reports showing and comparing contract labor usage across the entire company, even comparing various Staffing Agencies.
  • Administering all the aspects of “permanent” employees is a huge job, involving payroll, benefits, training, vacations, etc. Contract Labor tracking administration is much simpler, and as a result HR strongly prefers to pass that off to Operation Managers. TempChecker solves that administrative task for the Ops folks, plus gives them more accurate details to manage their contract labor budgets.

HR does not want to risk having contract workers inadvertently integrated into their larger, more complex personnel systems.

  • Managing “permanent” employees involve a variety of large, complex software systems. While there are many checks and balances, HR does not want temporary employees to erroneously contaminate those Attendance Management systems. Therefore, modifying a company’s existing IT systems to include temps has proven both problematic and expensive. TempChecker is totally independent workforce management solution that does impact existing systems, and it is much more cost effective.

IT believes they are already overworked handling “direct” issues and has limited availability for contract hire issues.

  • We all experience difficulty in getting IT folks to respond to non-Number 1 priorities. Rarely does administering contract workers rise to that level. Because TempChecker is a Workforce Management Service including a time and attendance system, and our Number 1 priority, you will have no problem getting our support.

IT does not want to maintain another “system”.

  • Temp Checker uses a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model. It should require no internal IT resources to install, execute, or maintain.
